Been having nasty random intermitent stop error 0 x 804E39A7 for a couple of
years now on windows xp pro. Turns out that the problems apparently began
when I replaced my old APC UPS with a new Tripplite UPS. Evidently, APC's
software left some detritus in my system when their software was uninstalled
prior to installing Tripplite's UPS software. After disabling Uninteruptable
Power Supply Service in Windows Services (Control Panel, Administrative
Tools, Services) there have been no more BSOD's!

And this is a bug in VB somehow?

Bob, I am really sorry for posting this in the wrong area. This was my first
post here and I couldn't find the right category for it, so I obviously
picked the wrong category. Any suggestions as to the right category would be
much appreciated.
